He is currently based in Brisbane, Australia.
Images exhibited here are from Morrison’s latest series “voyeuristic nuances, a life less vicarious (whispering shadows)”
Artist Statement (whispering shadows):
Inspired by elements of time, space, memory, sexuality, film stills & the social/sexual observations of public versus private identity and behaviors in men.
Turning the camera to the internal lives of often private & hidden moments, that glimpse plays on contradictions, polarities, emotions and the deeper social & psychological phenomenon that exists, in an often anonymous or private setting behind closed doors, between men. And the varied nuances of emotive response & expression.
Whilst observing directions & changes in social perceptions, the narrative in this series of images whispers to & from the imagination and reality.
