Australian Directors Guild Awards open for entries

The deadline for entering the 2012 Australian Directors Guild (ADG) Awards has been extended to March 5.

The ADG Awards will be held on May 11 at the Maritime Museum Sydney and will form past of the guild’s 30th anniversary celebrations.

To be eligible for the awards, work must have screened publicly for the first time between July 1 and December 31, 2011. The only exception is student films, which must have been completed within these dates.

Categories include feature film, animation, documentary, TV drama series, TV comedy and TVC. Applicants must be ACG members for the 2011-12 year.
