The Australian CleanTech Competition (ACC) is open for entry seeking creative solutions aimed at reducing energy and resource consumption.
Parliamentary Secretary for Industry and Innovation Mark Dreyfus launched he Australian chapter of the US based CleanTech Open earlier this month.
Thirty semi-finalists will qualify for an intensive, tailored mentoring program on commercialisation pathways, business modelling, venture capital funding solutions and successful pitching. CleanTech includes creatively conceptualised and applied solutions for transportation smart power, green grid, energy storage, green building, renewable energy, energy efficiency and air water & waste management.
The 2012 Competition winner will represent Australia at the Global Cleantech Competition in the US in November. The initiative is supported by Enterprise Connect, Commercialisation Australia, CSIRO and Austrade.
