AGL Energy has launched a new brand campaign via George Patterson Y&R celebrating its 175 year history. The Looking Back on 175 years of Looking Forward campaign aims to highlight the company's heritage and innovation.
Australia’s second oldest listed company, AGL lit the first gas lamp in 1841 and has become the largest renewables developer in the country.
Directed by Resolution Design's Tim Dyroff and produced by Kent Boswell, the campaign began on Sunday with TVCs running in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia.The integrated brand campaign also outdoor, online and print advertising.
GPY&R CEO Russel Howcroft said that it wasn't hard to make a great commercial for a company with such a rich history and promising future.
“This new commercial for the anniversary of AGL highlights their strong heritage, community involvement and focus on sustainable energy in Australia today,” he said.
