Luke Hawkins joins Clemenger BBDO Sydney

Clemenger BBDO Sydney has appointed Luke Hawkins as associate creative director after a short time freelancing at the agency.

Previously at Tongue Sydney as creative director he has also freelanced at digital agency WiTH Collective and Publicis Mojo Sydney.

Prior to that Hawkins was with BMF for eight years where he launched and ran BMF Design. He worked on a number of campaigns recognised at Cannes, One Show Entertainment, AWARD, ADMA, Echo, Caples and the London Internationals, including ‘6 Beers of Separation’ and ‘Harvested – The Trials’ for Tooheys Extra Dry.

Executive creative director Paul Nagy said it was fantastic to have Hawkins on board.

“The fact someone as talented as Luke wanted to join us after freelancing here for a while was particularly gratifying for me,” he said. “We even made fun of his ridiculous shoulders and it didn't put him off. Along with James Theoplane, our digital creative director, this gives us some serious digital grunt up front and the work they’re doing together is already impressive.”
