DDB Group Sydney has announced the appointment of Richard Morgan as creative director.
Previously at digital agency Holler, Morgan joins the DDB creative team at a time of awards success, including ‘Best in Show’ at IAB and four Cannes Lions, which included a Gold.
Executive creative director, Dylan Harrison said Morgan's modern communications pedigree would ensure the agency remained absolute leaders in social creativity.
“He is passionate not only about what our clients are currently doing but also about taking them closer to the upper limits of their potential,” he said. “He brings with him great innovation, enthusiasm and experience.”
Morgan also spent six years at BMF Sydney as associate CD and was one of the agency’s most awarded creatives. Prior to that he was at AMV BBDO London.
He has also won multiple industry awards including Gold, Silver and Bronze at Cannes, Silver at D&AD, Gold at the One Show, British Television Awards, Caples, ECHO, London International, Silvers at Clio, six silvers and 12 bronze at AWARD.
Mr Morgan has also lectured Communications Council AdSchool, was on the 2012 Digital AWARD judging panel and lectured this year’s AWARD School.
It's still about big ideas. One of the big ideas now is where and how you present yours.
