Post production house FSM's feature focus

Sydney post production company FSM has started 2011 with a feature film focus, including the national cinema release of Griff the Invisible in March along with the announcement of its involvement with the soon-to-be-shot, multi-million dollar movie Goddess.com.

FSM completed all visual effects, titles and colour grading for Griff the Invisible which stars Australia’s latest Hollywood export Ryan Kwanten – best known for his role in the smash hit US TV series True Blood – and Maeve Dermody who won critical acclaim for her role in Beautiful Kate.

"Griff has already received international rave reviews and accolades from the Toronto International Film Festival and we were very proud to be so involved," said FSM founder and executive producer Steve Dunn.

Directed by Leon Ford, the movie features Griff (Kwanten) who is an everyday office worker, in an everyday town. He lives a secluded life, bullied by co-workers with his protective brother his only friend.

By night, though, Griff assumes his other identity, roaming the dark streets protecting the innocent and the vulnerable from the dangers that lurk in the shadows.

Scheduled to begin shooting in April, Goddess.com is a musical romantic comedy directed by Mark Lamprell and produced by Richard Keddie and Andrena Finlay.

FSM is heavily involved in workflow tests, VFX, DI and the full post production pathway for the multi-million dollar film.

"It’s one of the biggest and most interesting Australian films we have been involved with and our activity is across the board, including being on set doing all the data wrangling," said Dunn.
