Two new categories have been introduced the 2012 Spike Asia awards. The Branded Content & Entertainment and Creative Effectiveness categories bring the total number of categories at the annual festival to 16.
The branded content category will honour creative marketing messages that engage consumers via relevant content platforms, rather than traditional advertising methods. Creative Effectiveness will reward creativity that has shown a measurable and proven impact on a client's business.
The new Spikes Palm Award will also be presented to the most awarded production company in the Film and Film Craft sections.
Entries to Spikes Asia 2012 are now open. Winners will be announced at the festival's awards ceremony on September 18.
