The Co-op joins Taxi

Brisbane and Sydney-based Taxi Film Production have signed directing team The Co-op to its roster.

The directing duo of Michael Mier and Lav Bodnaruk is known for strong performance-based commercials and films and recently completed GPY&R Sydney's TVC for the national launch of Colgate Palmolive’s Heavenly Hands.

Having built their skills as highly adaptable film-makers, The Co-op's style is characterised by strong talent direction and striking visuals with Bodnaruk's cinematography background complementing Mier's sound design skills.

Solid post-production knowledge has led to the duo opening their own boutique post-production house, Chop Shop Post in Brisbane.

Taxi executive producer Andrew Wareham said the pair were clever and versatile film-makers.

“We’re really excited to have The Co-op on board,” he said. “Their flexible approach means that between them they can solve pretty much any filming problem you can throw at them and they add another dimension to the Taxi roster.”
