Sydney creative studio Zspace is behind colourful new branding for Nine Network Australia, which went live on Sunday.
The branding package is a move away from the logo dominance of the past. In the year of the London Olympics, the traditional Nine blue stays but is joined by five new colours: rich red, yellow, green, orange and purple.
ZSpace owner Jean-Christophe Danoy enjoyed working on the rebrand.
“We've enjoyed developing the Nine logo to be more playful, and adding colours creates a friendly, fun feel,” he said.
Nine Network Australia's creative director Andrew Peace said the network is excited about using its new look.
“It's our year of the Olympics – our year of the super-brands: The Block, The Voice, Big Brother, The Olympics,” he said. “Our aim was to produce a refreshing new look to go with our refreshing new lineup.”
